ENGL 3122       Short Paper Assignment       Dr. Robinson

Pick a Romantic author not mentioned on the syllabus, read the
selections from his/her works, and write a maximum four-page essay
discussing what makes this person "Romantic." Be specific and back up
your claims with brief quotations from the works. Do not use or cite
any outside critical sources. Make sure that your essay conforms to
MLA style, which means it will have a list of Works Cited (just
literature, from the anthology presumably) and parenthetical citations
in the essay body. (Note: I will hand back any paper not conforming to
the proper style without comment, and you will have to resubmit it.)
