GloPAC held a workshop for K-12 educators on using the database and planning online resources aimed at middle and high school classrooms: K-12 Educators' Workshop September 17, 2005.

The National University of Singapore received a grant from the Japan Foundation to hold a conference on Developing an On-Line Japanese Performing Arts Resource Center June 24-26, 2005.

Cornell University Library received a three-year grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services in 2002 to further the work in metadata definition for the performing arts. Cornell's partners on this project include the St. Petersburg Museum of Theatre and Music (Russia), the Museum of the City of New York, the San Francisco Performing Arts Library & Museum, the Gertrude Stein Repertory Theatre (New York), and the University of Washington Libraries.
